Authorship

Contemporary Pediatric Dentistry follows to the authorship criteria defined by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).

Authors should be listed appropriately according to the criteria of ICMJE and significantly contribution to the study.

Contemporary Pediatric Dentistry specifically uses the following criteria for authorship and strongly encourages authors to design Authors list accordingly:

  1. Conception and design (essential for all authors)
  2. Acquisition of data
  3. Interpretation of data
  4. Drafting article
  5. Revision article
  6. Final approval (essential for all authors)

Authors should fill and each author should sign the Authorship statement, Copyright Transfer, Financial Disclosure, and Acknowledgement Permission Form (ACFAP) during the submission.

Authors must declare author contributions according to the journal’s criteria at the “Declarations” section located at the end of article.

Authors’ declaration and warranties

By submitting an article to the Contemporary Pediatric Dentistry, the authors must certify and warrant that:

Corresponding author is the primer contact and have responsibility to submit article and contact with journal.

Prior to submission, the authorship list and order must be agreed between all listed authors, and they must also agree on who will take on the role of corresponding or contact author. It is the responsibility of the corresponding or contact author to reach consensus with all co-authors regarding all aspects of the article including the authorship order and to ensure all correct affiliations have been listed.

Changes in authorship

All Authors must approve any changes in authorship including those being added or removed, during review process and/or after publication. Corresponding Author has the full the responsibility to inform and contact with the Editorial Office with a strong evidence and full explanation about why the change was necessary. If a change in authorship is necessary after publication of the article, this will be amended via a post-publication notice. Any changes in authorship must comply with our criteria for authorship.

Acknowledgments

Authors should declare any individuals who have contributed to the article but who do not meet the criteria for authorship should be listed by name and affiliation at the “Declarations” section located at the end of article.

Affiliations

Authors should declare all relevant affiliations to attribute where the research was approved and/or supported and/or conducted any individuals who have contributed to the article but who do not meet the criteria for authorship should be listed by name and affiliation at the “Declarations” section located at the end of article.
