Online submission system
Online submission system of Contemporary Pediatric Dentistry guides authors to submit their articles. The online submission system allows authors to track the status of their own manuscripts. Contemporary Pediatric Dentistry requires the all authors to provide an ORCID iD when submitting their manuscript. Complete instructions for submitting a manuscript is available online and below. Presubmission
Please follow the following steps to submit an article. Please launch your web browser and go to the journal’s online submission site: https://contemppediatrdent.org/dashboard/
• Login or click the “Create Account” option if you are a first-time user.
• If you are creating a new account:
After clicking on “Create Account”, please follow the required steps given by the system.
- If you have an account but have forgotten your log-in details, go to Forgot Password on the journals online submission system and enter your e-mail address. The system will send you an automatic e-mail.
- Login and select “CPD User Dashboard”.
Submission
Please follow the required steps directed into system to submit article.
Contemporary Pediatric Dentistry uses double-blind review, which means the identities of the authors are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa. To facilitate this, please include the Title Page and Main Text files separately. Please follow the manuscript preparation process.
Confirmation of submission
After submission, you should receive an email to confirm receipt of your manuscript within 3 days. If you do not receive the confirmation email within 3 days, please check your email address carefully in the system. If the email address is correct, please check SPAM folder or contact to Editorial Office, info@contemppediatrdent.org. This error may be caused by some sort of spam filtering on your email server.
Review process
Contemporary Pediatric Dentistry performs double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. All contributions will be initially assessed by the Editor-in-Chief for suitability for the journal in terms of scope, originality, ethics, and technical format. Papers deemed suitable are then typically sent to a minimum of two independent expert reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the paper. The Editor-in-Chief‘s responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of articles. The Editor-in-Chief’s decision is final. Editor-in-Chief is the only responsible for final decision and will be returned to the corresponding author via e-mail
Manuscript status
You can access submission system any time to check your “CPD User Dashboard” for the status of your manuscript. You will be informed by e-mail once a decision has been made.
Submission of revised manuscripts
Revised manuscripts must be uploaded within 21 days of authors being notified of a Revision Required decision respectively. Access submission system to submit your revised manuscript. Revised manuscripts must show changes to the text in red colored font. Please do NOT use track changes for this. Prepare and submit a separate “Response to reviewers” document, in which you address EACH of the points raised by the reviewers.
Editorial board submissions
Manuscripts authored or co-authored by the Editor-in-Chief or by members of the Editorial Board are evaluated using the same criteria determined for all other submitted manuscripts. The process is handled confidentially and measures are taken to avoid real or reasonably perceived conflicts of interest.
